FabLab Budapest is part of an international open innovation network with 1,750 members in more than 100 countries. The aim of the network is to democratize access to digital manufacturing technologies and related knowledge. Every FabLab works differently: there are some that are created and hosted by universities, some that are created by a corporate partnership, and some that are individual initiatives. Within the network, these heterogeneous endpoints are involved in research projects. In our project, FabLabNET project we took part to create a Central European network with shared infrastructure.
In our DDMP project, we are changing the traditional system of product manufacturing in the age of digital manufacturing.
