FAB CITY

Both the society and the economy of our time are determined by mass and overproduction, which devours our planet and consumes its resources. This is simply unsustainable. Currently, 55.3% of the Earth’s population lives in cities and by 2050 this figure will reach 68%. The Fab City international initiative is currently composed of 34 major cities that want to raise the FabLab concept to the city level by 2054 to produce consumer goods locally using local resources. We are working to make Budapest the 35th :)
