Prototyping and product design
We take the ideas into shape! Every prototype development task is different, but they are the same in two things: the need for attention and challenges.
Digital manufacturing
The equipment of our own workshop is suitable for performing complex manufacturing tasks, be it laser or CNC machining, 3D printing, or UV printing.
3D scanning and
reverse engineering
With do reverse engineering and 3D scanning with high-precision handheld and installed (laser, structured light) 3D scanners and with photogrammetry.
Installation design and manufacturing
Each of the architectural, artistic, interactive, and exhibition installations we design are made with a unique approach and great care in our own workshop.
Education and workshops
Digital design and manufacturing can be learned in the same way as any foreign language. In our small group courses, the emphasis is on skill development.
Open Lab
Based on a monthly fee or individual billing, we provide to our users the opportunity to use the machines independently. Exit the virtual design space!
ABOUT US
Founded in 2011, FabLab Budapest is part of an international open innovation network with more than 1,750 members, presented in more than 100 countries.
Our leading service is prototype development and production of installations and custom products. We are equipped for the manufacturing of prototypes and small-scale production.
But FabLab Budapest is more than a simple design and manufacturing workshop. The network aims to democratize access to digital manufacturing technologies and related knowledge. The technologies we use were previously only available for the industry, so we place great emphasis on nurturing talent, sharing our expertise with infrastructure.
The users of the Lab form an inspiring community. Many successful design and technology projects started with a simple conversation.
